Leggy blonde! Lady Gaga lets her silver rain coat open to show off slender stems in NYC after Super Bowl halftime announcement 

It was announced just days earlier that she would be headlining the 2017 NFL Super Bowl halftime show.

So it's likely Lady Gaga was in great spirits when she stepped out in New York City on Monday.

The 30-year-old songstress made sure to turn heads in a shimmering silver trench coat which flaunted her endless slender stems.

'I get a chance to sing for all the athletes — who have been working so hard their whole lives for this moment — the coaches, as well as the fans in the stands who are waiting for this moment.' 

'I think it marks what being an American is all about.'

Last year Coldplay, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars took to the stage for the prestigious Super Bowl halftime show.

They follow in the footsteps of Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Nicky Minaj, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney to name just a few.
